How the numbers work

Methodology

A clear account of what Rixor tracks, how its estimates are made, and where the numbers have limits.

Positions and tracked value

Rixor groups supported lending, vault, liquidity pool, and staking positions by wallet, protocol, network, and asset. Position value is the most recently observed USD value. Total tracked value combines supported DeFi positions with direct wallet tokens; balances already represented as staking positions are excluded from the direct token total.

Available capital means supported assets held directly in tracked wallets and not currently represented as DeFi positions. It does not imply that those assets are appropriate, liquid, or safe to deploy.

Rates, earnings, and forecasts

Weighted APY is the current gross annual yield on active earning principal with known rates. Idle wallet holdings, borrowing, closed positions, and separately paid rewards are excluded. Known zero rates are included; unknown rates are excluded with coverage shown for priced earning capital. Effective APY includes native compounding, while APR assumes no reinvestment. Historical averages use verified observations of the same gross yield measure; incomplete windows are shown as partial or unavailable.

Simple APR income uses observed capital × annual rate × elapsed time ÷ year. Effective APY income uses observed capital × ((1 + annual yield) raised to the elapsed fraction of a year − 1). Supply and borrowing components are calculated independently, with interest expenses deducted and separately reported rewards added once.

Earnings since tracking begin at the first verified position observation. Protocol-rate backfills, generated history, and market price changes do not generate wallet earnings. Deposits and withdrawals change the capital used for later intervals. Estimates after the latest fresh observation extend for at most 15 minutes. Missing borrowing costs make that position's net earnings unavailable for the interval. Unsupported components and incomplete history are disclosed. These estimates are yield accrual, not realized profit or full portfolio PnL.

Projected income extends current earning principal, borrowing balances, and reported reward rates across exactly 30 days or 365 days. It assumes rates and reference prices stay unchanged, applies the source's rate convention, and deducts known borrowing costs. Positions with missing borrowing costs or observations older than 45 minutes are excluded from projections. Totals cover the remaining positions; unreported rewards and future market price changes are excluded.

Fees, rewards, and liquidity

Claimable fees and rewards are shown separately when the position source reports an amount. Yield already reflected in a vault or staking balance is not a separate claimable amount. For liquidity positions, Rixor can show pool range, token composition, fee rates, and recorded changes when those observations are available. Pool fee APR is a forward-looking estimate, not observed earned fees. Position-level LP earnings without supported fee-growth accounting are excluded from earned-since-tracking. Unclaimed balances can fall when fees are collected; their changes alone do not establish lifetime earnings or impermanent loss.

Prices and valuation

USD values depend on available market price data. Rixor uses reference quotes from sources including CoinGecko and fallback price providers, or protocol-reported USD valuations where available. If a price is missing, stale, or unsupported, the affected asset or position may be excluded from totals or marked as unavailable.

Coverage, freshness, and limits

Coverage varies by network, protocol, market, and data source. A listed integration does not mean every position or asset on that network is available. Data can be delayed, incomplete, repriced, or unavailable.

Rixor screens tracked public wallet addresses against available sanctions, token blacklist, and threat intelligence sources. These are point-in-time risk signals, not a legal determination of compliance or a guarantee that a wallet is safe.

Rixor provides analytics and does not execute transactions or provide investment advice. Rixor does not custody assets and cannot move funds.
